Homi Bhabha Fellowships Council for grant to Dr.Shanti Pappu (2000-2002) for initiating excavations at Attirampakkam

Homi Bhabha Fellowships Council for grant to Dr. Kumar Akhilesh (2014-2016) for project on Experimental Lithic Knapping and research on the Attirampakkam lithics.

Various phases of the Attirampakkam excavations were also funded by: 

 

 for funding ISRO-GBP project on Prehistory and Palaeoenvironments in SE India: Use of Satellite Remote Sensing. 

Vodafone communication grant for funding subsection on project on community archaeology. 

Ministry of Culture, Government of India for funding project on Children's Museum development.
